Plus Entourage

Having never actually seen what the band looked like nor speculating how many members there were in it we were surprised to learn that Belle & Sebastian consists of no less than eight people plus four additional touring folks. This fluxtuates a bit as far as I know. I have never seen a stage so filled before. I was expecting someone to fall off it at any moment but that only happened to a rather stupid drunk fool who was invited up on the stage along with some other stupidly grinning fool. The guy who fell down was quite big. Probably weighed around 100 kg. While walking along the edge of the stage in front of the speakers he cleverly managed to head dive into the concrete ground. I laughed so hard. He got back up though and dosed around for half the song before security pulled him away. He didn't get the fact that he wasn't there to socialize with the band.

The show lasted around two hours with no encore. That's the first time I've experienced that. The show was nicely balanced and the lead singer spoke a lot. During the performance of We Rule The School from Tigermilk the audience was completely still and the applause afterwards was almost deafening. Another thing I've never experienced before. This is also my favourite song of theirs. It was quite possibly one of the most beautiful concert song moments of my life. Thumbs up.
